Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated HR professional or part-time consultant to assist with the onboarding of new employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive onboarding experience for new hires, facilitating the completion of necessary paperwork, conducting orientations, and helping to integrate employees into our company culture. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of HR processes and a passion for supporting new talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Conduct virtual or in-person orientation sessions to introduce new hires to the company, policies, and team.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees, including setting up workstations, providing access to necessary tools, and arranging introductions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to onboarding.
- Act as a point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns during their first few weeks.
- Support the development and implementation of onboarding programs and materials.
- Track and report on onboarding progress and employee feedback to continuously improve the process.
- Provide training on key HR policies and company culture to new hires.
- Assist with any other HR-related tasks as needed.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in HR, with a focus on onboarding and employee integration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support new hires.
- Understanding of HR policies, legal compliance, and best practices.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with HR software and onboarding tools.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of company culture and the ability to represent it effectively to new hires.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications for human resources, e.g a Diploma, certificate or degree
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is a leading professional body for HR qualifications.
