Customer Service Operator – Walsall – Temporary to permanent – £15.97 per hour - Hybrid
We’re seeking a Customer Service Operator to support our client’s busy site investigation team based in Walsall. This hands-on role is ideal for someone highly organised, confident on the phone, and eager to learn within a technical environment.
As a Customer Service Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring client instructions are actioned efficiently and all enquiries are handled with professionalism. Full training is provided for key systems and report checks.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Manage incoming instructions from multiple clients regarding site investigations
•    Accurately input details into the Simplifi system, noting all special requirements
•    Direct emails to appropriate personnel and monitor for timely responses
•    Send completed reports to clients and assist with report preparation
•    Chase clients for missing information and ensure follow-up is logged
•    Maintain weekly logs of poor instructions for management review
•    Answer inbound enquiries and make outbound calls professionally
•    Keep your line manager updated on instruction quality and client feedback

Requirements / Qualifications:
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Good IT literacy and comfort with office software
•    High attention to detail and a methodical approach
•    Positive “can-do” attitude with willingness to learn
•    Able to work independently and as part of a team
•    Motivated and proactive with a desire to grow within the role
•    Capable of building strong internal and external relationships
•    Able to adapt to fluctuating workloads and priorities

Salary:
£15.97 per hour
