Rhino Recruitment are seeking an experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor for ongoing work across the UK.
Position: Civils Quantity Surveyor.
Employment Type: Full-time (Self-Employed basis).
Location: Ideally based in Essex, London or Kent - Travel to other areas may be required.
Travel & Expenses: Fully reimbursed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of civil engineering projects. This includes preparing and reviewing cost estimates, valuations, and variations; managing subcontractor accounts; producing accurate financial reports; and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the required standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain cost control and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Applicants should have a proven track record working on large-scale civils projects valued between £5 million and £40 million, ideally within the industrial, education, energy, or data centre sectors. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential.
