Groundworks / Civils Planner – M25 Corridor – Full-time – DOE
Rhino Recruitment is seeking an experienced Groundworks / Civils Planner to support a busy infrastructure team across multiple sites around the M25 Corridor.
This full-time planning role offers the chance to work across a variety of groundworks and civil engineering projects, with responsibility for ensuring efficient programme management, risk identification, and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project programmes using Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project
- Coordinate labour, plant, and materials with Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers
- Monitor progress across multiple sites and implement recovery strategies for delays
- Create short-term lookahead programmes and assist with sequencing and resourcing
- Analyse and report on project performance to senior management
- Ensure programmes reflect groundworks, drainage, utilities, structures, and external works
- Conduct regular site visits to validate progress and support site teams
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to align schedules
- Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project delivery objectives
- Support tendering with planning input and bid programmes
What We're Looking For
- Proven planning experience in groundworks, civil engineering, or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of drainage, foundations, utilities, and external works
- Proficiency in Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Familiarity with NEC or JCT contracts is a plus
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the M25
