Rhino Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager on behalf of a well-established construction contractor delivering a mixed-use residential and commercial development in Cardiff.
The project consists of 24 residential apartments and 10 commercial units within a listed building redevelopment, with ongoing internal, external and shopfront installation works.
Working alongside the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
- Monitoring health & safety compliance
- Conducting site inspections and quality checks
- Assisting with project documentation and reporting
- Managing site logistics and material deliveries
- Ensuring work is completed in line with programme requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager
- SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent site management qualification
- Valid CSCS Card
- Strong understanding of construction health & safety requirements
- Ability to manage multiple trades and site activities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Project Details:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Cardiff location
- Potential for further work upon successful completion
