Coded Welders (135/136) & Steel Erectors / Locksmiths – Bridge Construction – Various Locations in Germany

We’re currently recruiting experienced coded welders and steel erectors / locksmiths for long-term bridge construction projects across Germany.

This is a solid opportunity to secure consistent work on major infrastructure projects with strong hours available.

You’ll be working on the assembly and welding of bridge steel structures, following detailed drawings and WPS specifications.

  • Welding structural steel sections to assembly schedules
  • Working with MAG welding processes 135 (solid wire) and 136 (flux-cored)
  • Carrying out multi-run welds on thick plate
  • Working in various positions including vertical and overhead
  • Supporting steel erection and alignment where required

Requirements

Welders:

  • Valid EN ISO 9606-1 coding (135 / 136 preferred)
  • Proven experience in structural steel or bridge welding
  • Confident working to WPS and passing site weld tests
  • Experience with multi-position welding (PF, PC, PE advantageous)

All candidates:

  • Previous construction site experience
  • Own PPE in line with German site requirements
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team

Project details

  • Location: Various sites across Germany
  • Duration: Minimum 6 months
  • Hours: Approx. 56 hours per week
  • Start date: Ongoing / as soon as available
