Rhino Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Account / Development Executive to join an established team in Dumfries.
This full-time Commercial Account / Development Executive position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the insurance broker sector, combining client development with strategic sales. Based in Dumfries, the role supports a mix of office and remote work arrangements to promote a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with your client portfolio through regular engagement and proactive support.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Account Handlers to deliver high-quality service, accurate documentation, and technical advice.
- Business Development: Identify cross-selling opportunities and uncover gaps in coverage to expand client services.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute plans that support personal and business growth within a collaborative environment.
- Market Awareness: Stay current with insurance trends, products, and compliance to ensure top-tier service and development.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to FCA regulations in all client interactions and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Minimum Standard Grades (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Cert CII/Dip CII preferred but not essential.
- Industry Experience: Previous insurance industry experience is essential. Knowledge of the transport sector is a plus (training provided).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Acturis is beneficial. Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
