Rhino Recruitment is looking for experienced Electricians to support the manufacture and fit-out of luxury yachts on the South East Coast.
You'll be responsible for installing, terminating and testing electrical systems within a high-quality marine production environment.
Location: South East Coast
Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, plus overtime
Contract: Up to three months at a time
Accommodation: Can be provided
Duties:

Installing electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures on luxury yachts

Planning and installing trunking and conduit runs

Wiring AC and DC appliances

Manufacturing and installing electrical wiring looms

Reading engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and specifications

Terminating and testing electrical systems
-
Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults

Working to precise tolerances and yacht-quality standards

Following safe working procedures

Supporting production targets and vessel build schedules
Requirements:

At least three years' electrical installation experience

Apprentice-trained status, a recognised electrical qualification or equivalent practical experience

Experience installing, terminating and testing electrical systems

Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings

Methodical approach and strong attention to detail

Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment
Marine electrical experience and an 18th Edition qualification would be advantageous, although experienced Electricians from manufacturing, automotive, industrial or specialist installation backgrounds will also be considered.
Contracts can run for up to three months at a time, with 40 hours per week and overtime available. Accommodation can be provided where required.
