Job Title: Marine Ship Fabricator / Welder

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to work on marine projects including shipbuilding, repair, and refit. You’ll be working on structural steel and vessel components, ensuring work is completed safely, to drawing, and to a high standard.

Key Duties

  • Fabrication and welding of ship structures such as hulls, frames, and deck sections
  • Read and work from engineering drawings
  • Welding using MIG/MAG (135/136) and other processes where required
  • Carry out repairs and modifications on vessels
  • Work to site deadlines and quality standards
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in shipbuilding, marine, or heavy engineering
  • Confident reading technical drawings
  • Competent in MIG/MAG welding (minimum)
  • Able to pass weld tests on site
  • Relevant qualifications or codings preferred
