Rhino Recruitment are currently looking for experienced 136 Flux Core Welders to work on large ships within a dry dock in Belfast.
Rate: £30 per hour PAYE (basic)
Overtime: Rate TBC
Start: 26/10/2026
Duration: Until mid-February 2027
Travel & Accommodation: Provided for non-local candidates.
Requirements:

Current 136 Flux Core welding qualification to ISO 9606-1 standards, covering carbon steel, FM1 filler material group, PF and PE positions, material thickness of 12mm or above, including a supplementary fillet weld.

Qualification must be witnessed and approved by an IACS member (ABS, Lloyd’s, DNV or BV), with valid two-year prolongations.

Valid eye test certificate dated within the last 12 months.

BPSS clearance required before starting, or an application in progress subject to site approval. Rhino Recruitment can assist with this.
