The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator to join a specialist Passive Fire Protection team. This is a hands-on, mobile role where you’ll carry out high-quality internal and external decorating works, including remedial finishing, across a range of sites nationwide.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality painting and decorating work (internal & external)
  • Carry out remedial works to meet client and project requirements
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards, H&S, and regulations
  • Assess job scope and estimate time, materials, and labour needs
  • Plan and manage your workload efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Work within a scheduled appointment system, liaising with clients and team members
  • Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times
  • Install and work from access equipment such as scaffold towers and platforms
  • Maintain clear communication with your line manager regarding progress and changes

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating
  • PASMA certification (tower scaffolding)
  • IPAF certification (boom/vertical)
  • Proven experience in painting & decorating (internal & external)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to manage workload and adapt to changing schedules
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable:

  • CSCS card
  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills
  • Professional, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
