Job Title: Lead Lifting Supervisor**
Location: Near Dartford
Contract: Self-Employed, 6 Months
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Lifting Supervisor to take overall control of lifting operations on a major structural steel project near Dartford. This is a 6-month self-employed contract, overseeing multiple lifting teams and ensuring coordination across the site.
You’ll provide clear leadership, maintain strict safety standards, and ensure lifting activities are planned and delivered in line with programme requirements.
Scope of Work

Lead and coordinate all lifting supervisors and lifting teams on site

Review and approve lifting plans prior to execution

Chair lift briefings and ensure RAMS are fully understood

Monitor compliance with LOLER and site safety standards

Oversee crane allocations and lifting schedules

Intervene where standards fall short and implement corrective action

Liaise with senior site management on planning and progress
Requirements

Valid CPCS Lifting Supervisor qualification

Extensive experience managing lifting operations on large structural or heavy construction projects

Strong working knowledge of LOLER and lifting regulations

Confident leading multiple teams in a high-risk environment

Excellent communication and coordination skills

UTR and right to work in the UK
