Rhino Recruitment is looking for experienced Systems Installers and Plumbers to work on luxury yachts at a marine facility on the South East Coast.
You’ll be responsible for installing and testing plumbing, water and climate-control systems as part of the yacht manufacturing and fit-out process.
Location: South East Coast
Pay: £24-£26 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, plus overtime
Contract: Up to three months at a time
Accommodation: Can be provided
Duties:
- Installing fresh-water, grey-water and black-water systems
- Fitting and commissioning air-conditioning systems
- Installing pipework and associated lagging
- Fitting displacement pumps and unvented hot-water systems
- Installing toilets, showers, baths and sinks
- Working with Hep, ABS and Geberit Mapress systems
- Testing systems and supporting commissioning work
- Reading technical drawings and build specifications
- Working within restricted spaces and onboard vessels
- Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Requirements:
- Plumbing or systems installation experience within marine, construction, manufacturing or a similar setting
- Experience working with Hep and ABS pipework
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Experience producing work to a high standard of finish
- Own tools, although specific tools will be available on site
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and reliable approach
- Ability to complete a practical trade test if required
Experience with crimped pipe connections, unvented hot-water systems or marine plumbing would be advantageous.
Contracts can run for up to three months at a time, with the opportunity for further work. Accommodation can be provided where required.
