Project Manager – Bristol – Full-time – £65,000 to £75,000 + car or van

Rhino Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an established team in Bristol. You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to handover. You’ll coordinate labour, materials, and logistics to deliver work that’s on time, on budget, and to spec.

A strong presence on site and in meetings will be essential, ensuring consistent communication across clients, teams, and departments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety across all projects, ensuring compliance with policies and minimising risk.
  • Project Delivery: Plan and manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, delivering on time and to budget while maintaining high quality.
  • Team Management: Lead Site Managers and on-site teams, fostering strong performance and a collaborative culture.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and attending site meetings.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor materials, labour, and logistics to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets high standards and that QA documentation is completed accurately.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Oversee financial and operational documentation, including project tracking, reviews, invoicing, and payments.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal departments such as Design, Procurement, QS, and Health & Safety to support seamless project execution.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Qualifications such as SMSTS, NVQ Level 3/5/6, Appointed Person, and First Aid (EFAW)
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
  • Practical approach to solving problems and improving processes

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH
  • Abrasive Tools Certification
  • Scaffold and Net Inspection
  • Crane Lift Supervisor
