Job Title: Rigging and Fleeting Operator
Location: Near Dartford
Contract: Self-Employed, 6 Months
We’re recruiting an experienced Rigging and Fleeting Operator to support a major structural steel project near Dartford on a 6-month self-employed contract.
You’ll carry out rigging duties and assist with the controlled movement of materials, plant and equipment across site, working closely with lifting supervisors and erection teams to keep operations safe and efficient.
Scope of Work

Sling and signal loads in line with lifting plans

Support crane operations and coordinate material movements

Assist with loading, unloading and positioning of steelwork

Inspect lifting gear prior to use and report defects

Maintain clear communication with crane operators and site teams

Follow site safety procedures and method statements at all times
Requirements

Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification

Experience on heavy construction or structural steel projects

Good understanding of lifting operations and site logistics

Strong awareness of exclusion zones and load control
-
UTR and right to work in the UK
