Job Title: Rigging and Fleeting Supervisor
Location: Near Dartford
Contract: Self-Employed, 6 Months
We’re looking for an experienced Rigging and Fleeting Supervisor to support a heavy steel / structural project near Dartford on a 6-month contract basis.
You’ll take day-to-day responsibility for overseeing rigging operations and coordinating site fleet movements, ensuring lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
Scope of Work

Supervise rigging teams and lifting operations on site

Coordinate plant, equipment and material movements

Review lifting plans and ensure compliance with current regulations

Carry out checks on lifting gear and maintain inspection records

Lead toolbox talks and uphold strong safety standards

Liaise with site management and subcontractors to keep works on schedule
Requirements

Strong background in heavy construction, structural steel or industrial projects

Proven supervisory experience in rigging and lifting operations

Relevant lifting / rigging certifications

Confident managing crews and working to tight programmes

UTR and right to work in the UK
This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who takes ownership on site and keeps operations running smoothly and safely.
