Site Manager – Bristol – Full-time – £45,000–£55,000
Rhino Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join an established team in Bristol. This is a great opportunity for a qualified professional with strong leadership skills to work across varied construction projects, supporting delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Health, Safety and Environment: Lead on-site safety culture. Ensure documentation, risk mitigation and safety procedures are consistently followed.
- Project Oversight: Support the Project Manager to supervise construction projects, ensuring progress aligns with client specifications and timelines.
- Team Supervision: Coordinate on-site operatives and ensure teams are properly trained and certified.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Documentation: Assist in project tracking and maintaining necessary documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor quality output and take remedial actions when required to meet expected standards.
- Client Liaison: Attend meetings with clients and contractors, providing updates and fostering strong working relationships.
- Collaboration: Work with internal departments such as Design, Procurement, Cost Planning, Quantity Surveying and Health & Safety.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager.
- SSSTS or equivalent certification (NVQ Level 3/5/6, Appointed Person, First Aid at Work).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Comfortable making decisions and managing priorities.
- Organised, proactive and committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Desirable Qualifications
- NEBOSH
- Abrasive Tools Certification
- Scaffold and Net Inspection
- Crane Lift Supervisor Certification
