Rhino Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee curtain walling and window installation works on a school project in Cardiff.
This project is Phase 1 of a 3-phase programme, involving asbestos removal and the installation of new PVC windows. The successful candidate will have experience managing works within live environments and be confident liaising with members of the public, staff, and students while ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Role Details
- Location: Cardiff
- Start Date: 22/06/2026
- Duration: 10 weeks (Phase 1)
- Hours: 8-9 per day
- Future Work: Phase 2 will commence immediately following completion of Phase 1
- Rate: Negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations
- Manage subcontractors and site activities
- Ensure health and safety compliance at all times
- Coordinate works within a live environment
- Maintain effective communication with clients, staff, students, and the general public
- Monitor programme progress and site quality standards
Requirements:
- Valid SMSTS
- Valid CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Checkable employer reference(s)
- Valid DBS certificate
- Previous curtain walling and/or window installation experience or knowledge is advantageous
