Job Title: Slinger / Signaller
Location: Near Dartford
Contract: Self-Employed, 6 Months
We’re seeking an experienced Slinger / Signaller to support structural steel works on a major project near Dartford. This is a 6-month self-employed contract, working closely with crane operators, rigging teams and site supervision.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely, accurately and in line with approved lifting plans.
Scope of Work

Attach and detach loads in accordance with lifting plans

Direct crane movements using recognised hand and radio signals

Establish and maintain safe exclusion zones

Inspect lifting accessories prior to use and report any defects

Communicate clearly with crane operators and site teams

Follow method statements and site safety procedures at all times
Requirements

Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger / Signaller qualification

Proven experience on structural steel or heavy construction projects

Strong understanding of lifting regulations and load control

Confident communicator with good site awareness

UTR and right to work in the UK
