Job Title: Steel Erector
Location: Near Dartford
Contract: Self-Employed, 6 Months
We’re looking for experienced Steel Erectors to support a major structural steel project near Dartford on a 6-month self-employed contract.
You’ll be responsible for the safe installation of structural steelwork, working as part of an erection team to deliver works accurately and in line with programme requirements.
Scope of Work

Install primary and secondary steelwork in accordance with drawings

Carry out bolting, aligning and levelling of structural members

Assist with lifting operations under direction of appointed persons and supervisors

Work safely at height using appropriate access systems

Follow method statements and site safety procedures

Maintain high standards of workmanship and site discipline
Requirements

Proven experience in structural steel erection

Valid CSCS card
-
IPAF, PASMA or other relevant access tickets preferred

Strong understanding of working at height and lifting operations

Able to read and interpret erection drawings
-
UTR and right to work in the UK
