Job Title: Traffic Marshall
Location: Near Dartford
Contract: Self-Employed, 6 Months
We’re recruiting an experienced Traffic Marshall to support a heavy steel and structural project near Dartford on a 6-month contract basis.
You’ll manage vehicle movements on and around site, ensuring deliveries, plant and workforce access are controlled safely and efficiently. You’ll work closely with site supervision, rigging teams and drivers to maintain safe traffic flow at all times.
Scope of Work

Control and direct site traffic, including HGVs and plant

Manage delivery access, loading and unloading zones

Communicate clearly with drivers, banksmen and site teams

Maintain pedestrian segregation and safe access routes

Conduct daily checks of traffic management measures

Uphold site safety standards and report any hazards immediately
Requirements

Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification

Previous experience on busy construction or industrial sites

Strong awareness of site safety and vehicle movement risks

Confident communicator with a proactive approach

UTR and right to work in the UK
